Disclaimer

Our services, software risks, and limits of responsibility.

1. About this site and its services

V2Ray Resource Hub (v2rayfile.com) is the official V2Ray website, offering client guides, download links, terminology explanations, and troubleshooting resources. This disclaimer applies when you visit our pages, follow our guides, or use links on this site to obtain software.

v2rayN, v2rayNG, v2flyNG, and their related core components are maintained by their respective projects. Our guides and download links do not replace each project’s license terms, release notes, or system requirements. Nor do they make us responsible for developing, operating, or supporting those projects.

We do not provide subscription accounts, server nodes, or internet access. Setup instructions in our guides explain how to use client software; they do not guarantee the availability, quality, or continued operation of any third-party service.

2. Software risks and your responsibilities

Before downloading, installing, or running software, review its features, required permissions, and system requirements, and decide whether to use it. System proxy, routing, DNS, and TUN settings can change how your device handles network traffic. Incorrect settings may interrupt connections, prevent apps from accessing the network, or make local network services unavailable.

Before changing settings, save the original configuration and make sure you can restore network access. If you are using a work device, shared network, or managed system, obtain the necessary authorization first. Do not bypass your organization’s security or management requirements.

Keep subscription URLs, account details, and configuration data secure. Avoid sharing logs or screenshots that contain access credentials. You are responsible for following applicable local laws and network service rules, and for risks arising from your configuration choices and use, except where the law provides otherwise.

3. Content accuracy and version differences

Our guides reflect the software versions available when they were written or last revised. Updates may change menu names, button locations, default settings, supported protocols, and permission requirements. Interfaces may also differ across operating systems. Interpret screenshots, configuration snippets, and steps in light of the version you are using.

We make reasonable efforts to verify our content, but cannot guarantee that every page will always be complete, accurate, or suitable for every device and environment. Troubleshooting tips cannot replace an assessment of actual logs, network conditions, and server settings. Example configurations should not be assumed to be complete or appropriate for your setup.

If the steps do not match what you see, pause before making further changes and check the software’s prompts and release notes. Visit Troubleshooting for related issues, or review the setup guide to verify the steps. Avoid repeated changes that could make the problem worse.

4. Downloads and external links

Our download links and references may lead to resources maintained by third parties. Their providers are responsible for the content, license terms, access rules, and availability of those resources, which may change or be discontinued without notice to us. Including a link does not mean we endorse all of the linked content or services.

Before visiting an external page or using a third-party service, review its terms and privacy notice, and check that the software matches your platform, device architecture, and installation requirements. We cannot control changes to third-party pages, network interruptions, or discontinued services, and cannot guarantee that external resources will remain accessible.

Decide whether to rely on external resources based on your needs. If you encounter an unexpected redirect, an unfamiliar installation prompt, or unclear source information, stop. Do not submit account details or grant additional permissions.

5. Limitation of liability and updates

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we make no commitment to compensate for connection interruptions, data loss, or other losses caused by incorrect configuration, software defects, third-party service failures, or outdated information. This disclaimer does not exclude liabilities that cannot legally be excluded or limit any rights you have under applicable law.

We may revise this disclaimer as our services, the software ecosystem, or applicable requirements change, and update the month shown on this page. Review the current version before following our guides. If you are unsure about software permissions, the consequences of an action, or whether instructions apply to your situation, stop and check the relevant guidance in Troubleshooting or our guides.
